New wheels and tires on the storm trooper
Been a while since I’ve updated the site. I’ve been getting a lot of riding in and have been working on getting back in shape for the summer race season. I hit the sand trap of a track at the river at least 3 times a week now. I’ve made some updates to the bike as well. OK, some updates and some maintenance. I’ve changed the bars over to the Renthal twinwall from the Renthal Fatbar and I’m now using the RC bend. I’ve also been playing around with gearing by changing sprockets but have settled on the stock 48T rear being the best setup for me at Ascot. I tend to like the 49T on the tighter sand tracks at the river though. About a month ago I picked up some Thor practice gear because my sponsor O’neal was out of everything even remotely close to my size. Sorry O’neal but I needed some gear. The tundra is also getting some upgrades thanks to Ryan Robertson at Arkansas Customs. Some flat black 20×9 Pro Comp 7031 wheels with Nitto Mud Grapplers in 305/55/20 are on the way. If I’m lucky, they’ll arrive today.
I have some big projects coming down the pipe that should really help the motocross community in this region. We have been working on this for a while now and hopefully things will begin to fall into place this summer. More to come at a later time.
I finally broke down under the pressure and did it. I feel dirty. Facebook
This thing is so much fun.

Pics of the 110 as promised. I wadded it up in the sand just before this picture for good measure.
Picked up a pit bike over the weekend. 2010 Kawasaki KLX110L. Pretty good Valentine’s Day gift if you ask me. April you rock. Thanks to Ashleigh at Fat Alberts in Poteau for all the help. Pics coming soon. My knees are all bruised up from hitting the stock bars last weekend while blasting around at Jace’s track so I need to get some bigger bars for it.
Yes… after 5 months my arm is still broken.
Hit the river for some fun this weekend. Arm is healing… sort of. But at least I’m back to doing this.

Over did it a little last weekend while riding at the river and hurt my arm a bit. To add insult to injury…. now I have a cold, or SARS or the pig virus … maybe even water buffalo flu. Whatever it is, it sucks. In other news… I’m still working on getting the quad back together so I can race it a bit next season as well. Johnny Hale at JH Racing has all my suspension parts and is giving them a nice once over. The rear is getting revalved and resprung and the Race Tech long travel fronts are getting the same treatment. I also picked up a set of Lonestar DC4 long travel a-arms and a set of Hiper Tech 3 carbon wheels. It should be a nice setup if I ever get finished with it.
Here are a couple of pics from past ride days.

The first is something that you don’t see too often. Me on a 2-stroke.

This is Trace Tanguay and Kix Huddleston in a giant bucket. This Cat loader is huge.

Triston and Ashley at the river.

Triston working on his turning techniques.
I just wanted to take some time to thank my sponsors for the the upcoming season and also sponsors who have stuck with me through the injuries and surgery. I appreciated what they have done for me and what they continue to do. These guys give grassroots guys like myself the ability to race when we need parts or gear.
